  • We remind all guests that you will be on the deck of an open boat with a licensed captain on Casco Bay. Our goal is to show you how a working sea farm operates. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you may learn a bit more about the oyster farmers life than you signed up for!

    We always recommend bringing an extra layer as it can be a bit chillier on the water. A cooler, ice, and wine glasses will be provided for any beverages or snacks you would like to bring on board. Of course, we’ll have plenty of oysters for you to sample!

  • A half dozen oysters per person are complimentary to your tour reservation. For the ultimate oyster enthusiasts, additional oysters can be purchased for your tour at $20 per dozen.

  • Wines from Sancerre or Chablis are an excellent choice. We also enjoy Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Bubbles are always fun too!

    Pro Tip: Bring whatever you like…there are no rules to enjoying wine and oysters on Casco Bay!

    A cooler, ice, and wine glasses will be provided on the boat.

  • The itinerary of your tour is highly dependent on the day, weather, and tide. We are an all weather tour and will only cancel in the event of extreme weather warnings.‍ ‍

    We do not offer any form of refund for cancellation once a booking is made. Only in the event of extreme weather, our team will contact you to discuss rescheduling your tour or refund options.

    *Tours may be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.

  • We ask that all guests stepping aboard are over the age of 12, unless you are booking a private tour. Please reach out to bookings@madpoints.me to inquire about private tours.

  • We ask that all guests acknowledge that they will be visiting a working sea farm and agree to follow the instructions and safety requirements as directed by your tour guide. All guests will respect the property of Madeleine Point Oyster Farms and remain in the boat at all times.

    All guests acknowledge that shellfish is a known allergen that can result in anaphylaxis and death in extreme cases. Any person participating in Madeleine Point Oyster Farm tours hereby declares that they have no known shellfish allergies and are consuming raw shellfish at their own risk.

    Please notify us of any relevant health concerns before your visit to our farm. This includes, but is not limited to allergies, asthma, and epilepsy.
